SUMMARY:Willamette Valley Songwriter's Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Willamette Valley Songwriters Showcase is an event to celebrate the creativity and uniqueness of musicians with original songs. In an effort to recognize musicians with original work\, music-aficionado Florian Raqueño established a collaborative event where several musicians can share their creativity and stories behind their songs. She recruited friend and music event guru Shannon Dempsey to help make the vision a reality. Together\, they hope to connect the performers and audiences through lyrics and experiences. It is\, after all\, a community. \nSix skilled musicians spanning multiple genres will perform at this kick-off.  There will be music\, wine\, food and a raffle. \nIn conjunction\, we are fundraising for Ethos. Ethos is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides music lessons\, group classes\, camps\, multicultural performances and workshops to more than 7\,000 students across Oregon each year.
