Willamette Valley Songwriters Showcase is an event to celebrate the creativity and uniqueness of musicians with original songs. In an effort to recognize musicians with original work, music-aficionado Florian Raqueño established a collaborative event where several musicians can share their creativity and stories behind their songs. She recruited friend and music event guru Shannon Dempsey to help make the vision a reality. Together, they hope to connect the performers and audiences through lyrics and experiences. It is, after all, a community.

Six skilled musicians spanning multiple genres will perform at this kick-off.  There will be music, wine, food and a raffle.

In conjunction, we are fundraising for Ethos. Ethos is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides music lessons, group classes, camps, multicultural performances and workshops to more than 7,000 students across Oregon each year.
