Our journey continues and I have had a chance to talk with the person who will help guide us through this process. As it turns out, we will need to not only certify the vineyards, but will certify the winery as well. This will allow us to label the wines as organic and give us more flexibility. In looking at the regs, doesn’t look to be an issue and I don’t think it will require any change on what we have done in the past. Just cost a bit more $$$ and a bit more time, but worth it.
